NEW YORK, October 26, 2004- The New Life Project (NLP) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to end homelessness in the U.S. by raising funds and awareness through innovative creative events and initiatives. On November 5, 2004 at 8pm, NLP will hold its Inaugural Concert at the historic Hammerstein Ballroom. A truly impressive array of musical talent are donating their services to support this worthy cause: Kanye West will be headlining the concert which will feature other notable artists including hip-hop star Common, R&B sensation Musiq and the dj acrobatics of The X-Ecutioners. This highly anticipated event will be host to a celebrated list of socially-conscious personalities in the worlds of entertainment, fashion and business. Larry David, Billy Crystal, Al Green, Kanye West, and Q-Tip are all members of the growing list of influential individuals who serve as honorary board members. AOL and Hot 97 radio are just two of the many promoters for this powerful night.

In keeping with NLP's mission, the Inaugural Concert will be entertaining, educational and inspirational.
